 Join Librarian Barbara Wenglin for the last story discussion of our Spring Series using the rich anthology New York Stories, ed. by Diana Secker Tesdell (Everyman's Pocket Classics, 2011). We will explore "The Thistles in Sweden" by William Maxwell (p.213) where we meet a charming couple, their two curious cats, other residents and colorful guests in a NYC brownstone walk-up. A copy of the book is held at the Reference Desk for reading in the Library, with circulating copies available through the catalog. The program is supported by the Friends of the Library. Remaining dates are: June 6 and June 20 (film discussion). All are welcome, including newcomers!
