Description:
 Join Librarian Barbara Wenglin for our Spring Short Story Series using the rich anthology New York Stories, ed. by Diana Secker Tesdell (Everyman's Pocket Classics, 2011). At this session, as part of Women's History Month, we will discuss "New York Day Women" by Edwidge Danticat (p.335) and "Reference #388475848-5" by Amy Hempel (p.343). A copy of the book is held at the Reference Desk for reading in the Library, with circulating copies available through the catalog. The program is supported by the Friends of the Library. Dates are: March 28, April 18, May 2, May 16, June 6, June 20 (film discussion). All are welcome, including newcomers!
