Description:
 Ellen O’Connell, White Plains resident and retired teacher, will moderate a discussion of the the novel The Round House, by Native American author Louise Erdrich. This National Book Award winner, published in 2012, recounts the story of a boy on the verge of manhood, who searches for justice in the face of a horrific crime that transforms his family. “This novel showcases Erdrich’s extraordinary ability to delineate the ties of love, resentment, need, duty, and sympathy that bind families together,” —Michiko Kakutani, NYT. This book is available in the Library’s physical collection and on Overdrive/ Libby.
