 Join Librarian Barbara Wenglin to discuss the compelling documentary The Loving Story (HBO 2011 - 1hr 17min) as we conclude our series exploring the theme of "Couples." The landmark case of Richard and Mildred Loving, a mixed racial couple from Virginia, went to the US Supreme Court in 1967 in this dramatic account with background history and interviews of the couple and their ACLU lawyers. Please view the film before our meeting via the Library's streaming service, hoopla, or check it out as a DVD through the catalog, also on Amazon Prime. Optional added feature film, Loving (Focus 2016 - 2hrs), moving and heartfelt, based on the above documentary. Golden Globe and Oscar nominee, available to borrow as DVD and BluRay, also on Netflix.
