Description:
 Join librarian Barbara Wenglin for our fall series using the anthology, 100 Years of the Best American Short Stories (ed. Lorrie Moore, c2015) focusing on the theme of "Couples." For this session, read "Will You Please Be Quiet, Please?" (p.260) by Raymond Carver in which a young man is obsessed with the idea of his wife's infidelity causing a major rift in their marriage. Anthology is available to borrow in WLS and WP collections, also as an eBook in Hoopla and Libby/Overdrive. Other dates in the series: 11/18/21, 12/9/21, 1/6/22, 1/13/22 (film discussion, 1/20/22 (film discussion). Program is made possible with support of the Friends of the Library.
