Modern calligraphy is a more free-form style of writing that maintains the elegance of traditional calligraphy while allowing for more self-expression. You'll learn all the techniques you need to make the thick and thin lines that create the beautiful letterforms of calligraphy with a brush pen or even a simple Crayola marker or regular ballpoint pen. No prior experience is required! The skills you’ll learn can be applied to cards, invitations, signs, or just to give your penmanship a little pizzazz.

*How to compose both uppercase and lowercase letters
*How to connect letters to form words and phrases
