Description:
 Join Ellen Lambert for 4 sessions in June focusing on Toni Morrison's novel "Beloved." Participants will study closely and discuss in detail about 75 pages in each meeting. On June 1, the group will also read the narrative of Margaret Garner, the enslaved woman who was the inspiration for "Beloved," from Levi Coffin's "Reminiscence" (1876). "Beloved" is available in eBook and digital audio through OverDrive and Libby. Lambert has a Ph.D. from Yale in English and has taught high-school English at The Dalton School for over 25 years.
