 Ellen O’Connell, White Plains resident and retired English teacher, will moderate a discussion of The Paris Library (2020), by Janet Skeslien Charles. Based on the true story of the heroic staff of the American Library in Paris during the Nazi occupation, this instant bestseller was described as “an ode to the importance of libraries, books, and the human connections we find within” them (Kristin Harmel). The novel is available in the Library’s physical collection; Overdrive/Libby has both the eBook and digital audiobook.
