Event Type: STEAM Age Group(s): Middle School (Grades 6 - 8), 9th Grade, 10th Grade Date: 7/12/2021, 7/13/2021, 7/14/2021, 7/15/2021 Start Time: 1:30 PM End Time: 3:30 PM Description: Shakira Cherimond, Commercial Arts student at SW BOCES, will be teaching color theory. Color theory sets the fundamental guidelines around color combinations and harmony. Students will be taught the basics of color theory through acrylic paints. They will then be expected to create a composition using one of the color schemes.
Participants will need to pick up supplies for this program. Supplies can be picked up at the Library. You will receive an email with information on how to pick up supplies before the program begins.
