Donna Faranda -- Digital works (Ongoing Event)

Event Type: Museum Gallery Exhibit
Age Group(s): Adults
Date: 1/3/2017 - 2/28/2017
Description:
Ms. Faranda is a visual artist who created the works of this exhibit on her computer. The computer, scanner, and computer software have become the tools of her medium.

Through the use of a computer painting program, she renders imagery based on the nobility of womankind. She employs elements of collage in her paintings to conjure up images created from a mixture of fantasy, mood and symbolism, blended together in a variety of ways to create her own world; communicating through these images, paintings that reflect these women’s inner stories as well as their inner beauty

Ms. Faranda's art work has been exhibited throughout the New York metropolitan area as well as nationally and internationally. For more information, visit her website at http://www.micro-pointillism.com/index.html

This exhibit will be on view in the second floor lobby from January 2, 2017 through February 28, 2017.
